Advert reference

I love the idea of all these different characters living inside the coke bottle machine, the ideas of the different chracter having different jobs is similar to what will be applied to each of the dust mites living in the rug.

Construction sites

Some of the final photographs me and Angus selected are from a construction site we went to so looking at scaffolding and construction materials should give me a few ideas on what the colony could potentially look like.

Lego Cities

Tree Houses

A few of the photos taken are of woodland areas so i have collected some reference images of tree houses to see how some of the structures are built in, on top of and around the trees. All this i can take in to consideration when illustrating the woodland colonies.

Futuristic Cities

Castles

I have been looking at some image references to get familiar with a variety of buildings and architecture, this should help me have a more confident understanding of the composition of the colony or city when i am illustrating it to fit into the photographs environment.
